Collections/Recovery Role - Litigation - Consumer Banking - LLB

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. Job Purpose:

The position ensures:

- This role would be responsible for handling the critical litigations of the bank and to update the Developments to the Management on regular and ensure recovery through legal recourse.

Key Accountabilities:

- This role would be responsible for handling the critical litigations of the bank and to update the Developments to the Management on regular and ensure recovery through legal recourse.

- Handle the litigations (To & Fro) related to the loan accounts.

- Recovery oriented approach and Good in data management

- Good knowledge of proceedings in DRT/NCLT etc.

- Very good knowledge of SARFAESI proceedings.

Job Duties & responsibilities:

- Interact with the Law firms / for handling the litigations and briefing them for the cases

- Conduct regular reviews of the assigned cases and update the management on developments.

- Handling the litigations in various locations coordinating with the lawyers

- Appearing before various Courts, Tribunals, Commissions, Appellate Tribunals and Regulatory

Authorities for resolving critical issues as and when required

- Appointment law firms/Advocates as and when required.

- Very good in handling police station issues and other LEA

- Establish compliance standards and compliance frameworks based on internal policies and local law & regulations.

Required Experience:

- 10 years of experience in handling Litigations

- Very Sound Knowledge of Court proceedings

- Experience in Banks /NBFC

Education / Preferred Qualifications:

- Graduate in Law
