Collections Head will be responsible for managing the entire collections and recovery process for the vehicle and SME lending businesses of the company. The person will be responsible for building and executing the entire collection strategy in line with the best practices. Proven team management skills, hands on collections experience and exceptional execution capabilities are essential for this role. The role will report to the MD and Promoter. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- - Chase the collection targets for the entire lending portfolio - Improve the current collections process, infrastructure and performance - Implement collections and risk management strategies for effective portfolio management - Provide data and feedback to the risk team to help improve the credit assessment process - Manage the internal collections team and keep them motivated to deliver - Take complete ownership of overall collections targets - Work with risk, sales and operations team to improve metrics of performance - Manage budgets and cost of collections - Achieve the recovery targets set for each state and zonal teams - Report risks, portfolio performance and performance against target to the MD and Board - Appointment and management of collections vendors PAN India - Building and Improve the collections strategy for the portfolio - Ensure collection and execution is done as per the defined policy and regulatory norms REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of experience in collections - Bias for execution - Proven track record in collections - Experience of working in NBFC - Excellent team management capabilities - Hands on experience in collection with strong execution capabilities
