Collection Lead - Telecom

Deliver targets for collections of both consumer and SME clients in a zone and branch, with specific focus on increasing PDD collections, cost-effective collections and reducing bad-debt. Manage and liaison with collection agencies to drive improvements in collections process

Essence of Role- Key Accountabilities % of time spent

1 Collections Management - Achieve overall collection targets against the billing generated - execute strategies to enhance pre-due date and post due date collections

- Ensure timely analysis and reporting of data on collections - Ageing and segmentation, pre due-date collections, collection modes etc

- Ensure all payments are presented for posting within collection deadlines

- Contribute to curtailment of Bad debts through faster & higher collections in 30-60 buckets and higher recoveries in 90+ buckets

- Expand collections infrastructure to meet defined targets 50%

2 Bill Delivery - Liaison with circle teams to ensure that bills are delivered within defined TAT, actively support reducing instances of return bills 10%

3 Budgetary control - Achieve savings on budgeted billing and collection costs 10%

4 Partner Management - Plan and execute allocation strategies to support and enhance collections

- Improve productivity of agencies - Manage and coach both on-roll and off-roll employees/ agencies 30%
