Collateral Operations - BFSI

Responsibilities:

- Individuals in this role are responsible for running the day to day operations, managing deliverables, managing escalations and issues, understand the client requirement and work towards operation excellence in the business unit. They are also responsible for effective client management, team management and ensure process improvement ideas are implemented.

- Responsible for effective process management

- Drive continuous process improvements by initiating and delivering process improvement projects

- Ensure compliance of all process requirements is not less than 100%

- Ensure that the resources are used optimally and buffer should not exceed 10%

- Ensure Team Productivity levels are achieved as per the targets set year on year

- Adhering to the compliance standards

- Manage employee retention and engagement.

Skills:

- Candidate expected to have strong fundamentals of capital market operations and transaction lifecycle of collateral management across asset classes such as Interest Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities and FX in the context of OTC, ETD, PB, Repo and SBL businesses.

- 10-12 years of experience in Investment Banking domain with at least 5-6 years proven expertise in Collateral Operations across the x-products

- Experience in Margin Management flow / process for x-products, including good amount of knowledge in understanding the bilateral agreements.

- Operations management experience in Collateral agreement and settlements knowledge in various products, including OTC, Prime Brokerage, SBL, Repo and Exchange Traded Derivatives.
