Scope of the role:

- You will be responsible for end-to-end software development in the data analytics domain (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, or L3 production fixes).

- This includes requirement analysis, solution design, development, implementation, testing and support.

- You will be expected to work in the Enterprise & Wholesale Bank Analytics Team.

- You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team's delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools.

- You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Analyse user requirements and convert requirements to design documents.

- Develop system documentation to capture key design decisions.

- Communicate complex technical issues to business users in a language they understand.

- Create solution options to meet business requirements.

- Engage users to achieve concurrence on technology-provided solutions. Conduct a review of solution documents along with the Functional Business Analyst and Business Unit for sign-off.

- Create technical documents (functional/non-functional specification, design specification, training manual) for the solutions. Review interface design specifications created by the development team.

- Perform design and development of applications according to change requests and project requirements.

- Participate in the selection of products/tools via RFP/POC.

- Perform detailed estimation of projects and change requests.

- Review test strategy and functional test cases created by the testing team.

- Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope creep.

- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and/or perform unit testing.

- Continuously work to optimize the production run time of IT applications.

- Execute continuous service improvement and process improvement plans.

Functional skillsets:



- Hands-on experience in implementing large-scale data warehouse & analytics platforms in the financial services industry with good functional knowledge of products & services offered in Retail banks / Wholesale / Global Markets covering some of the following analytics domains:

- Experience in Data Modeling and data mapping for Data Warehouse and Data Marts solutions.

- Expertise in FSLDM / similar industry models and dimensional models.

- Financial Crime Analytics & Reporting - Transaction Monitoring, Customer Due Diligence, Payment Screening.

- Retail and wholesale Data marts targeted at Digital engagement/ Acquisition/ profitability/ AUM/ Sales/ management.

- Expertise in the design of role-based fine-grained access control.

- Data security solutions targeted at the full life cycle of data.

- Designing cloud-ready data solutions and virtualization.
