About The Role:

We're looking for someone to build up the Supplier Relations function for Cogoport at various locations across India. We are looking for a self-starter, change agent, and exceptional problem solver with a demonstrated track record of leading large, cross-functional projects. With this role, you will help improve the processes and set up best practices; ultimately setting the bar for how we operate as a company.

Responsibilities :

The person in this role would be responsible for:

- Building and implementing supply strategy for the region

- Forging strong relationships with shipping lines across multiple levels in their organizations

- Negotiating & procuring competitive rates

- Building infrastructure to support seamless fulfilment of the bookings

- Driving new initiatives to build competitiveness on the selected trade lanes

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: MBA from Tier 1 Institute

2. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience and proven track record in Supply chain management or B2B Non-IT Procurement or Vendor Management or Consultative Sales.

3. Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen

4. B2B Relationship Cultivation and management

5. Good understanding of marketplaces

Location: Gurugram (Every month, one week needs to be spent in south Indian port cities)
