Cogoport - Project Implementation Manager - Contract Logistics

Cogoport is looking for a dynamic Project Implementation Engineer who would own Implementation of contracts and transactions, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while adhering to SLA's.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of contract logistics projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, company objectives, and industry best practices.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, procurement, and IT, to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

3. Implementation of contracts and transactions, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Mapping & Compliance (100% complaince in case of initial shipments

5. Conduct thorough project assessments to identify potential risks, constraints, and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.

6. Establish clear project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria, and monitor progress against these benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project implementation, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations effectively.

8. Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, and partners as needed to support project execution and ensure seamless integration of logistics solutions.

9. Implement robust project management methodologies and tools to track project performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process enhancements.

10. Drive post-implementation reviews and evaluations to capture lessons learned, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for future optimization and innovation.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience 5-6 years in project management within the contract logistics industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

3. In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes, coupled with a solid understanding of contract management principles and practices.

4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients at all levels.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

6. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA) and familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software solutions.

7. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
