Role Overview
Cogoport is on a look-out for a oversees the operations of the logistics department. They are responsible for the entire transportation supply chain, managing business relationships and choosing new suppliers.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the Operations and Customer service team at Cogoport
2. Handle Customer Escalations and ensure smooth resolution of issues
3. Ensure smooth implementation of processes
4. Identifying new avenues for revenue generation, Jointly work with CFO, & Internal Audit team to achieve compliance on following areas:-
- Documentation of relevant processes and controls as per scheduled announced by CFO.
- Demonstration of compliance of documented controls during internal and statutory auditors testing
- Ensure effective training by relieving for training and monitoring its effectiveness.
5. Ensure process compliance and surprise internal audits
6. CRM Utilization
7. Drive technology for customer usage / benefits
8. To ensure CRM Utilization
9. Drive technology for customer usage / benefits
10. To ensure there is minimum attrition
Skills and Qualifications
1. 7+ years experience of logistics operations management in International movements
2. Extensive knowledge in all segments of container shipping, (Customs Broker, Consolidation, Exports/Imports, Shipping Line, Container Terminal, Container Freight Station/s & General Cargo Port + Logistics)
3. Good relations with Shipping lines / Airlines
4. Should be able to speak with the customers in case of escalations
