Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Consultant to join our team, responsible for developing, managing, and delivering strategic consulting engagements related to Electric/Gas/Water Utilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Utility sector or as a Utilities domain consultant in IT services/consulting companies.

They will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, identify, and document business requirements, as well as create functional specifications for new systems and processes. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in assessing as-is processes, conducting gap analysis, creating to-be processes, and making recommendations for implementing changes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, manage, and deliver strategic consulting engagements related to Electric/Gas/Water Utilities.

2. Gather, identify, and document business requirements, and create functional specifications for new systems and processes.

3. Assess as-is processes, conduct gap analysis, create to-be processes, and make recommendations for implementing changes.

4. Support in implementing leading-edge, client-specific solutions, including the development of business cases, IT strategy development, and consideration of tools/software around Digital solutions.

5. Utilize strong knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum), methodologies, and tools.

6. Hands-on experience with GIS implementation.

7. Collaborate effectively as part of a cross-cultural team, demonstrating flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.

8. Prepare Use Cases and prioritize them in line with business preferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a Utility company or as a Utilities domain consultant in IT services/consulting companies is essential.

2. Strong analytical skills with experience in gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirements.

3. Proven track record in assessing as-is processes, conducting gap analysis, and making recommendations for process improvements.

4. Experience in implementing leading-edge solutions, including the development of business cases and IT strategies.

5. Knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum) and methodologies.

6. Hands-on experience with GIS implementation is preferred.

7. Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural team environment.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
