ESSENTIAL SKILLS/PERSONALITY TRAITS :

- Sound knowledge in understanding of the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry

- Should understand clients' business objectives and strategy, participate in conference calls and contribute to strategic discussions with client

- Maintain active dialogue with various clients on their requirements and solicit feedback on overall service delivery

- Provide meaningful and actionable analysis using contextual data, enabling clients to sustain their customer focused strategies

- Should to manage project close out documents and case study of the project.

- Maintain rigid controls on cost and resources

- Ensure consistent adherence to time tracker, deliverable log, task tracker

- Engage in periodical review and management of processes under control and initiate improvement measures

- Seek out best practices, document and share with all team members

- Develop unique and creative productivity measurement processes

- Manage third party research activities including coordination, providing feedback and reviewing deliverables

- Proactively identify challenges and gaps and find solutions

- Mine and harvest the account further by leveraging other capabilities especially IT and application development capabilities

- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team for efficient delivery

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions

- Participate in organizational initiatives (training, recruitment drives etc.)

- Coach teams on qualitative aspects; maintain accuracy in all the deliverables, mentor teams on best practices across research

- Participate and contribute to team initiatives: regular team meetings, presenting of thoughts, ideas, etc.

- Manage attrition and absenteeism

- Lead the team's recruitment efforts

- Provide work direction and guidance to team members: ensure accuracy of the work of team members, their ability to operate under deadlines and to work on multiple tasks

- Follow and actively foster a risk management culture, where issues are raised / resolved with Line Manager, HR, or Legal and Compliance as appropriate

- Identify training needs of team members and provide guidance

- Conduct performance appraisals for team members and provide them constructive feedback for learning path and career growth

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION :

- Graduate/Post Graduate/ Doctorate degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Medical sciences or equivalent

- PMP certification is value add

- Should have 7-8+ yrs. of overall experience and min. 18 months as Manager
