What we are looking for

We are looking for a Sales Leader who will -

- Drive our sales organization and scale revenue by acquiring new logos

- Architect and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

- Build and mentor a team of sales and business development executives

- Negotiate and manoeuvre complex and competitive deals

Must haves

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Post Graduation in MBA (Marketing, Communications or Business Administration) from top institutes

- 8-12 years of experience in selling IT consulting services

- Strong prospecting and closure skills

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach the team

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive sales outcomes

- Ability to influence cross-functional teams

- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

- Strong leadership and team building skills

Roles & Responsibilities

- Planning the sales strategy and optimization of sales efforts for better outcome

- Setting targets, creating performance plans and maintaining standards for sales in line with OKRs and KPIs

- Working collaboratively across cross functional teams - including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition teams

- Negotiation of commercials, terms, and contracts with clients

- Develop a scalable sales process and ensure representatives adhere to it correctly

- Plan and preside over weekly sales team meetings

- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences

- Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service

- Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reach-out, onboarding, activation, and expansion

- Tracking sales team metrics and sharing them with leadership and management team

- Provide pre-sales and post-sales service support the required assistance

- Attend marketing events (e.g. conferences or trade shows) representing the company
