Candidate should have 10-12 years of post-qualification experience working for Corporates. Job Location : Bengaluru This role will report into the Legal and Secretarial Head of the Group. Responsibilities : - Be an expert in Corporate/Commercial Law and be able to lead a team. - Drafting and reviewing legal notices, attending recovery proceedings and other legal proceedings across India. - Handling Labour law (Shops and Establishments Act) and compliance matters - Handling Copyrights, Patents &amp; Other intellectual property rights issues - Due diligence of lands and structuring of Land acquisitions. - Lead initiatives to put in place documentation for funding / loan with Banks, NBFCs etc. - Good knowledge of Food and Adulteration Act. - Liaison with various law firms, counsels, consultants on various matters. - Consult with attorneys or solicitors as necessary to address legal and compliance issues. - Provide assistance to auditors in inspection or review of matters pertaining to risks &amp; compliance. - Appear before the authorities and courts in civil and criminal cases as and when needed. - Should be proficient in Kannada and English - Drafting &amp; Vetting of documents such as Agreement for Sale, MOUs, Letter of Indents, Leave &amp; License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Development Agreements,&nbsp; - Documents related to Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit, Board Resolution, vendor agreements, client agreements, service, works &amp; material supply agreements, appointment Letters, Engagement Letters, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service Agreement, Staffing Agreements, lease agreement, property title verification and other commercial contracts &amp; Standard Operation Procedures, Compliance Procedures etc.&nbsp; - And other documents pertaining to litigation.
