Job Responsibilities:

1. Custodian of General Trade P&L

a) Maintain pricelists as per Business Plan/Rolling Estimate (MRP, Retail Margin, Distb. Margin) and raise timely Selling Price Approval Form's

b) Value chain analysis

c) Conduct reviews with stakeholders with MIS to ensure delivery of results

d) Revenue growth management by educating sales force on packwise profitability

e) Suggest improvement to profitability by improving pack-mix and cost control

f) Control the Direct Marketing Expense budget and track spends

2. Credit Policy Compliance and Distributor Management

a) Ensure Compliance to Credit Policy and obtain prior necessary exception approvals wherever required

b) Distributor appointment, balance confirmation (AR and Cases On Loan), reconciliation & timely settlement
of issues. Obtain clean confirmation atleast at end March and September as a minimum

c) Regular distributor ROI checking

d) Recovery of old AR & COL and delinquent accounts legal followup

3. Discount Management and claim processing

a) Ensure 100% compliance to Discount policy and take necessary prior exception approvals where applicable

b) Generate regular discount MIS showing pack wise, channel wise discounted and non discounted volume and spends

c) Suggest discount spent towards growing profitable packs

d) Ensure claim processing is in line with the agreed timelines

e) Ensure Claims passed are have proper supporting

f) Accurate accrual at the month end for discount spent

4.Market Control

a) Ensure visit to High Volume Outlets contributing to X% of total spend in a year

b) Visit Distributor territories contributing X% of total Open Market Scheme spent in a year. Do a random audit to check actual schemes in line with MER blocked.

c) Review unbilled outlets (direct and indirect) and visit to find out the gaps and drive corrective actions

5.Depot Control

a) Regularly visit and review own depots to check route settlement, cash pick up and inventory ageing.

b) Exercise internal controls as required as per company policy

Need CAs of 2006 batch or earlier only who have had experience in Sales Accounting, Branch Accounting in the FMCG/Consumer Durables space.
