Designation - Sales Head
Department - Sales
Location - Navi Mumbai
Reports to - Managing Director
CTC - As per industry norms
Primary Responsibility
- Responsible for the Sales Strategy of the Company
- Responsible for the realization of the strategy
- Responsible for overall sales operations of the company (orders, amendments, realization)
- Ensures good turnover of the company
- Ensures good profitability from various client accounts
- Maintains the minimum shop-loading for the manufacturing center
- Financially savvy
- Good understanding of business perspectives at C Level

- Business Focus - Drive for result / productivity while focusing on customer satisfaction and Company revenue.
- Leadership - Provide critical support and direction for all sales events. Lead the Company sales support and commercial teams into setting strategies for each of your projects.
- Global Perspective - Ensure that Company is delivering integrated solutions to our customers in line with market needs, while managing different cultural and business drivers.
- Ensure you are up to date on technology advances on company technologies and are aware of competitive advances as well.
- Teamwork - Foster teamwork between the different SBU’s working with company IPL, while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Ensure diversity influences company results in a positive manner.
- Communication - Act as the focal point in the relation between company and customers, demonstrate effective communication skills (internally and with customers), and promote continuous information exchange between parties.
- Set in place a robust documentation process to allow assessment of any project from development, to tendering, to proposal preparation right through to execution. Both written and spoke communication skills have to be excellent.
- Self Aware Learner - Must take self initiative to assimilate knowledge on company technologies and business fundamentals based on available tools and interaction with peers.
Job Specification
Experience - 10+ Years
Education - Engr + MBA / Specialization in marketing required / Good understanding of Six-Sigma
Additional Information - Capital goods experience required
- Project sales experience required
- Preferably with sectors associated with pharma
- Exposure in consultative selling
