With the objective of: Improving the operational efficiency & increase cost savings in the GMO Units

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience - A graduate in Engineering preferebly with MBA in Operations or Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering with at 15-18 years of experience

- Business Understanding Certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional with expertise and successful track record in implementing Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies such as Lean Enterprise, TPS, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, TQM, Six Sigma, Kanban /5-S/Visual Workplace, Poka Yoka etc. in her/ his previous job

- Understanding of the Formulations and API Manufacturing Process

Establish a multi-year Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy for the GMO organization with the aim to develop world-class operations; Identify areas of improvement and Key CI projects to be undertaken across all GMO sites; Anticipate issues, needs, required actions and develop plans for addressing them; Drive project plan by deploying Continuous Improvement Methodology & Lead / Six Sigma / Kaizen / TPM / WCM etc IN ORDER TO Initiate projects with potential for key saving and ehancing effectiveness

2 Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives FULL Application of CI tools

Utilization of DMAIC

No & Quality of Training CI Training Programs

Champion CI methodology and tools across the Global GMO organization. Develop standardized approach to CI across the Global GMO organization, including common tools, standardized template and harmonized training using DMAIC methodology. Enable coaching, mentoring, and training staff in the understanding and deployment of CI methodology and practices; Provide guidance to site leadership team on targeted CI projects IN ORDER TO to build a culture of Continuous Improvement

Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/ coaching for team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning, recruitment activities and talent development efforts; provide training to team members on new processes when required

Cost saving of Six Sgima programs

Drive the Six Sigma Training, Implementation, Evaluation & Certification for employees across fundtions, job families and role bands in GMO. Ensure Green and Yellow belt certification for internal stakeholders as well as White and Black belt certification for external stakeholders IN ORDER TO inculcate the culture of Continuous Improvement and institutionalize the Six Sigma way of working at GMO

5 MIS Updates & Review Meetings FULL Timely MIS updates & support to PM

Accuracy & quality of reports

Program Manage the critical CI projects, Guide team to provide MIS updates (Cost Improvements, Total Savings Reports) to Project Management; Participate in weekly project meetings, fortnightly meetings with Department Heads (Project Managers, PD), Monthly Review Meetings with Head of CTO & FTO Operations, Quarterly Review Meetings with GMO Head, Monthly meetings with Marketing, SCM and RA IN ORDER TO support timely updates are sent to senior leaders
