Job Title/Designation: Cluster Head - West & South Job Code:

Financial Dimension:
- Number of Staff Supervised - Direct: 3-4 Total Staff Supervised (Direct + Indirect): About 200
Job Purpose:
- To consolidate client position as the leading provider of Training education in his region
Key Accountabilities:
P & L of the region:
- Develop & own P&L Budget for the Cluster
- Fees which should have been collected Vs. actual collection.
- Invoices raised to center
- Making old outstanding Zero 31st by Dec 2014
- Expense Management to ensure Profit as per agreed P&L
Sales:
- Set Center wise revenue targets and drive the sales
- Monitor BTL activities of center
- Monitor Sales funnel of each center
- Implement corrective actions
Education Delivery:
- Monitoring Students on Roll (SOR)
- Ensure the frequency of audits and tech support
- Monitoring Courseware adequacy at centers
- Monitor and improve the exam appearance
- Manpower and training:
- Ensure optimal manpower at Affiliate centers
- Identify training needs and implement trainings (Both Tech and Sales)
- Placements:
- Ensure 100% placement to eligible students
Operating Environment:
- Responsibility for meeting sales targets in his region in an environment of increasing competitive intensity and an increasingly demanding franchisee network
- Developments in the IT industry have made the introduction of new courses a necessity and the person manning this position has to proactively identify the potential of such courses
- Being the market leader, Jetking is constantly under threat from competitors on both price and quality fronts
Communication & Working Relationships:
Internal:
- Reporting relationships with the VP - Sales & Marketing
- Ongoing communication with other departments like Technical, Examinations, Placements, HR and Finance for specific matters and to ensure efficient service to franchisees
External:
- Ongoing communication with the franchisees
Decision Making:
- Assist the VP - Sales & Marketing and CEO in chalking out pricing strategy
- Identifying and evaluating the need and potential for new courses/ modifications to existing courses
- Is responsible for developing new territories in the region through enrolment of new business partners or offering new centres to existing partners
- Overall responsibility of meeting the profitability targets set for the own centres
- Exercise the power of taking strict action against franchisees defaulting on quality
- Has to police activities of the large centres so that the interests of the newer centres are not compromised
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Qualifications :
- MBA Preferred with BE/BBA
Experience :
- Experience of 12-15 years in sales and marketing function in the education industry
Skills :
- Deep knowledge of client and competitors- products and prices
- Knowledge of customer preferences & need-gaps
- Knowledge of major market geographies
- Knowledge of marketing / promotional activities undertaken by competitors
- Knowledge of new technological developments in the industry
Competencies:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to use customer and market information systems
