The role will require the incumbent to drive development and adoption of technology through multimodal logistics, to deliver faster report delivery to end customer and maintain high Customer Service level while generating efficiencies in the system. Principal Accountabilities : - Development and Adoption of Technology: Work with sales, finance, transportation, and tech (IT) teams to identify the inefficiencies and scope out large high impact technology projects around automation with a futuristic approach. Plan and implement change management initiatives for the adoption of technology. - Build SLA/KPI/ MIS for Processes &amp; Budget: Define and Implement SLAs/ SOPs/ KPIs and deploy technology solutions to improve productivity, service levels and optimize costs. Ensure daily/weekly performance reports are completed and communicated. Identify newer and better opportunities to control and minimize freight costs - Manage Logistics operations: Provide leadership and strategic directions to the logistics team to maintain high Customer Service levels across the business like timely and cost-effective delivery of samples to respective labs as per desired service requirements. Manage multiple vendors - both national and regional for last mile delivery - Train and Develop Team: Train team on function best practices and develop them in line with the growth strategy of an organization. Develop them to implement new technologies and projects for effective adoption by the vendors and end users. - Exposure to warehouse management and replenishment processes.
