Job Purpose - Cloudtail seeks a Financial Analyst who would be integral part of the Central Financial Planning and Analysis (FPNA) team. - The Financial Analyst will partner with the FPNA head and team and with the broader business finance team to support various analytical, planning and reporting needs. - This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced business like Cloudtail. - The successful candidate will be analytical, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage the financial responsibilities of a high-growth business. - This position will be responsible for reporting of critical performance indicators and business analyses and requires a candidate with strong project management skills, communication skills, and some technical experience. - The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. - The position represents an exciting opportunity to be a part of an extremely dynamic and high paced environment of an ecommerce major and offers significant opportunities for rapid growth. Roles and Responsibilities - Preparation of financial and management reports analyzing business performance against plans - Supporting the development of annual operating plan - Partnering with Businesses and other cross-functional teams for cost optimization, process improvement and other business initiatives - Assisting in driving review meetings and assistance in preparing review documents and annexures - Develop process and control documentation for finance processes and implement best practices - Reporting and developing of financial and operational performance metrics - Involves interaction with Business, Business Analysts, G&A Functions and Accounting team Job Specifications - Bachelor/PG degree in a business, economics, finance or similar discipline with analytical bias - 0-3 years of finance and/or accounting experience - Candidate must have fluency in standard MS office software especially Excel - Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Red Shift, COGNOS) and SQL is a plus - Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication and presentation skills
