Our client,a specialist IT solution and services provider is looking for a Lead position for Cloud Services based out of Mumbai .The incumbent will be required to have a specific focus on understanding, developing, promoting and selling Cloud Specific Solutions and offerings.The role will have channel sales engagement and direct enterprise sales engagement components
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of Cloud services strategies and plans
- Assists with its operationalization and implementation by creating and establishing operational procedures to support the strategy
- Owns, and drives the achievement of country Bookings, Revenue and other relevant financial targets for Cloud. Contributes to the achievement of overall regional financial and business targets
- Financial objectives owned include those committed to jointly with strategic vendors and channel partners.
- Ensures on-going pipeline management and accuracy. Analyses client account information. Compiles and presents monthly reports as necessary.
- Ensures new clients are won and that existing clients are retained and grow in support of sustainable, growing and balanced Cloud sales revenues.
- Has excellent vendor and channel partner relationships ensuring an understanding of the vendors’ products and technology positioning as well as channel partners’ positioning, requirements and priorities
- Works with various parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities. Collaborates with channel partners to ensure channel partner sales personnel can articulate and do sell Cloud solutions successfully
- Collaborates with others as necessary to develop and define solution concepts and plans, gaining insight from the appropriate technology and channel partners and managing them appropriately.
Experience & Qualification:
- Work Experience: 15 years in IT hardware/software/solutions; at least 2 years in cloud services domain
- Qualification: BE plus MBA preferred
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- Excellent understanding of IT and cloud technologies
- Assertive in approach and displays well-developed persuasion, negotiation and influence abilities.
- Has good direct management skills (directly managed personnel) and influencing skills (channel and vendor partner managed personnel)
- Possesses good communication skills (both verbally and written) and employs these to interact and engage with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally and at all levels including “C”/Executive level.
- Demonstrate team leadership, motivation ability and business acumen
- Strategic and creative thinking ability and adequate knowledge of industry technologies to contribute to business sustainability
