Cloud Computing System Architect

Position Summary:

This position is for leading designing and implementing large scale cloud computing infrastructures as well as deploying B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-customers) applications on cloud computing environment. A successful candidate must have experience on designing cloud infrastructure solutions such as OpenStack, CloudStack, Amazon AWS, and VMWarevCloud.

A cloud computing software architect designs and implements cloud management systems using open source and/or commercial cloud management software as well as designing highly scalable cloud software applications for clients. A successful candidate must have deep understanding of cloud management software (OpenStack/CloudStack) and their internal working components such as Web (Apache HTTPD), WAS (JBoss/WebSphere), MQ (RabbitMQ/Qpid), Database (MySQL/Oracle), and Program Languages Java/Python/PHP).

A successful candidate must meet one or more of the following requirements:

1. VDI (Citrix Xenserver/XenDesktop, VMware ESX/View)

2. Hypervisor (KVM, Xen, VMWare)

3. MS Platform (Active Directory/MS SQL/MS Exchange/MS Windows Server)

4. DBA (MySQL, Oracle)

5. Cloud Computing (OpenStack, CloudStack, AWS, RightScale)

6. Cloud storage experience such as Swift, RADOS, Ceph, Gluster, OpenFiler

7. Linux system administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS)

8. Shell programming in bash, ksh, perl, expect, php

9. Network (Routing : Cisco, Radware, F5 / Security : Palo Alto, Juniper)

10. Must have hands-on experience

11. Server / Storage (Dell, IBM, HP, EMC, Netapp, Cisco)

12. Must have Rack n Stack experience

13. Storage management experience with EMC, Hitachi, NetApp

14. Especially Network storage clustering experience: DRBD, NFS, iSCSI, SAN

15. Monitoring Solution (Nagios)
