Currently CHAI works across projects to expand access to quality care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C, tuberculosis, cancer and immunisation. Additionally, CHAI is also supporting the government of Madhya Pradesh (MP) on large-scale programs to arrest childhood and maternal mortality due to malnutrition, anaemia, diarrhoea and pneumonia, and helping increase access to quality Family Planning services. In India, CHAI's Family Planning program is working towards improving access to safe sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, including a wide range of high-quality contraceptive choices and safe termination of pregnancy care. The Sexual Reproductive Health program is looking for a Manager to support program strategy design and on-the-ground implementation. The manager would be responsible for alignment of CHAI India SRH strategy with the government priorities at the national and state levels. This work will focus on managing a team in Delhi and oversight of operations in Madhya Pradesh, expanding CHAI's scope of engagement and involvement in SRH, and engaging with stakeholders at the government, partner and donor organizations. Develop CHAI India SRH strategy and ensure alignment with government, donor and global CHAI strategies 2. Manage a cross-sectoral team by establishing program goals, supervising task execution and monitoring project progress 3. Reinforce strong, collaborative relationships with the state and national stakeholders and support government leadership and priorities 4. Work closely with the SRH program at the center and in state to identify and bridge gaps pertaining to demand generation, access to services, supply chain, capacity building and monitoring and evaluation 5. Co-ordinate with other local and international development partners to leverage complimentary expertise, funding and/or relationships 6. Draw on CHAI's global and local expertise in demand generation and supply-side engagement proactively and work in a collaborative manner with cross-cultural teams 7. Work with global and in-country leadership to identify and pursue fund-raising opportunities 8. Determine annual budget and allocation for programmatic activities, and monitor budget utilization 9. Ensure development and delivery robust financial and programmatic reports to the donor in a timely manner 10. Other responsibilities as needed Qualifications: - MPA, MBA or other relevant professional degree with 8-10 years work experience; or Bachelor's degree with exceptional work experience - Experience in a public or private sector enterprise, with relevant mid-management leadership experience - Excellent problem solving, analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills - Experience in the planning and execution of large scale projects - Experience structuring and leading evidence-based decision making - Proven commitment to work and willingness to go above and beyond - Willingness to travel if required and at short notice, particularly to Bhopal and areas in rural MP - Fluency in English and Hindi - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Experience managing a team and working with the government is highly preferred
