Clinical Marketing Manager

The Clinical Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic development and tactical execution of key Clinical Programs to create awareness on the clinical benefits of Company catheterization labs and further strengthen Company leadership in cardiology.

- This position will interact with global and commercial marketing teams across the businesses to provide clinical protocols, tools, and educational programs supporting adoption of existing products and new product launches.

- In addition, this position will lead the establishment of KOL network for collaboration in clinical research, speaker programs, user groups, and as reference sites.

Main Responsibilities:

- Pan-India responsibility for all clinical marketing activities related to Company cardiology (catheterization labs) business

- Develop a clinical marketing strategy for Company cardiology business in collaboration with marketing and product management teams

- Conduct KOL mapping and establish thought leader network for conveying clinical education & tools, providing insights on new product development, and partnering on clinical research

- Cultivate collaborative relationships with current and future KOLs in academic and clinical medicine at the local, regional, national, and international level

- Manage Clinical Resource Center to disseminate new clinical publications, tools and programs to our customers as well as create new content using Indian sites

- Collaborate with global and commercial marketing teams to identify clinical marketing claims and build clinical messaging kits with claims supported by evidence based research

- Develop speakers to participate in programs, symposia, and peer-to-peer educational plans.

- Create and drive tactical execution of new clinical protocols, tools, educational materials and clinical training programs that clinicians can utilize for successful implementation of our technologies within patient care environments

- Create and deliver both scientific and clinical product-related presentations, seminars and educational programs to business partners, clinicians, and internal staff ensuring content matches audience need and background

Key Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills to effectively influence KOLs and manage both internal and external stakeholders

- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in parallel with strong attention to detail

- Extensive experience in building customer advocacy through speaker programs and establishing KOL networks

- Strong cross-organizational collaboration within a matrix environment (including functional and global internal teams)

- Ability to direct and manage external strategic relationships

- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and expertise in searching medical literature and databases for clinical information

Education and/or Experience:

- At least 6-7 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical marketing

- Bachelors’ degree in medicine, biotechnology ; medicine preferred

- MBA is a plus

- Must have Clinical background

- Travel to key thought leaders, customers, and key scientific meetings/tradeshows (20-30%)
