Climate Connect Digital is on a mission to create AI and software-driven net-zero technology for the world.

What is the role about?

- We are looking for driven, curious, and energetic individuals who can help us do market and business research for our organic and inorganic growth strategy.

- The analyst will work in the Product Strategy and Research function and help the team quantify and strategise in capturing the market opportunity for the various products across different countries and geographies. The analyst will also work closely with the M&A team in building investment notes for the target companies spread across other countries.

- Along with this, the individual will provide inputs and research to the trading team in building their trading strategies.

What will you work on?

- Conduct secondary and primary research using public and paid databases

- Gather market intelligence and monitor industry trends - develop and maintain the industry landscape of companies across various investing themes, and information on key trends such as partnerships, sustainability targets etc. for both national and global companies dealing in the energy/carbon/utility sector and its related applications

- Track Sectoral news and macroeconomic and geopolitical events which can impact the business

- Gather and evaluate policies and regulations in the energy sector to identify opportunities and risks

- Collaborate on creating key research deliverables, including but not limited to investment notes, strategy notes & presentations, case studies, infographics, articles etc.

- Participate in the calls organised by Business Development/Inorganic Growth teams with founders/management of other firms

- Drive thesis building (including key portions like market sizing, TAM, industry trends, etc.) and internal business strategy documents.

- Contribute to research & innovation ideas and hackathons.

- Provide necessary inputs to Product and Sales teams

What will we look for?

- Fresher graduates or Experienced professionals with Bachelor's degrees in Economics or STEM, MBA or master's in economics can apply.

- Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years of strategy consulting or research experience.

- Energy market experience will be an added advantage.

- Exceptional curiosity, energy, drive, and desire to figure out the world.

- Ability to assimilate information quickly to produce explainable and actionable insights

- Strong quantitative & analytical skills

- Strong presentation skills, commercial sense and a knack for thinking from a business standpoint, delivering high accuracy output

- Consistently produce work to a high-quality standard, thoughtfulness, and insight within prompt deadlines.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, a "team player," organised, and high level of attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn nuances of new sectors (carbon and energy utilities) quickly with support from an expert team.

- Taking ownership of the deliverables and comfortable with working independently on projects.

- Skilled in organising the team's knowledge and body of work using various products and data management tools.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office- PowerPoint, Excel and Google Workspace products
