Qualifications and Experience

Essential

- Master's degree or higher in Climate Change / Climate Change and Sustainability Studies / Environmental Sciences / Natural Resource Management/ Climate Risk Management/ Environment Law.

- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in climate change and / or ecosystem studies and / or environment conservation

- Less than 65 years of age as on 1st August'2021

Preferred:

- Experience of working on climate change related projects/ initiatives and / or ecosystem studies and / or environment conservation with relevant State / Central Government or any other organization under the aegis of State / Central Government /bilateral / multilateral organizations (such as United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), World Nature Organization (WNO), UNDP, IPE Global, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change WWF India etc.).

- Experience in analyzing impact, designing strategies and programs and establishing systems for environment/ climate impact assessment and climate risk management, preferably in India / other geographically similar countries / regions.

- Certificates / Courses (duration not less than 15 days) in relevant areas will add weight to the candidature.

- Honors / Awards/ Recognized publications in relevant area will be an added advantage.

- Education higher than Master's degree or higher in Climate Change / Climate Change and Sustainability Studies / Environmental Sciences / Natural Resource Management / Climate Risk Management / Environment Law
