We are searching for a talented and customer-focused Client Services Officer to join our team in India-Indore as a Depository Participant. You will be responsible for various activities relating to customer interaction, securities handling, investor complaint management, internal control, operational risk, and record maintenance in this capacity. Your ability to successfully engage with clients, handle securities, answer investor issues, and ensure internal control compliance will be critical to our organisation's success as a Depository Participant.

Responsibilities :

(a) Dealing with or communicating with customers:

- Maintain good relationships with clients as their principal point of contact.

- Respond to consumer enquiries, offer support, and resolve any issues or concerns as soon as possible.

- Inform clients of critical information, updates, and regulatory changes clearly and succinctly.

- Ensure that trade confirmations, statements, and other relevant notifications to customers are distributed promptly and accurately.

- To enable flawless client interactions, collaborate with internal departments such as operations and compliance.

(b) Dealing with Investor Complaints:

- Receive and recognize investor complaints, ensuring that prescribed dates and processes are followed.

- Investigate and resolve issues, as well as address investor concerns and provide suitable answers.

- Keep track of investor complaints, actions, and resolutions for future reference and reporting.

(c) Risk Management or Internal Control:

- Implement and enforce internal control procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.

- Conduct frequent evaluations and analyses of internal processes and controls to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans in collaboration with risk management teams.

- Compliance with internal control mechanisms and risk management frameworks is monitored and reported on.

(d) Operations-Related Activities:

- Identify operational hazards related to depository operations and devise mitigation solutions.

- Monitor operational processes, systems, and procedures for areas for improvement and to improve operational efficiency.

- Implement and monitor business continuity strategies to guarantee that operations continue uninterrupted in the event of a contingency or disruption.

- Maintain awareness of industry trends and developing operational hazards, and take the required steps to address them.

(e) Bookkeeping and record keeping:

- Maintain accurate and current books and records for client interactions, securities transactions, investor complaints, and internal control activities.

- Maintain accurate records of client communications, securities transactions, and compliance-related information.

- Prepare and submit necessary reports and documents to regulatory agencies within the timeframes provided.

- Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to guarantee proper transaction recording and financial reporting compliance.

Requirements :

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required. Additional depository participant industry credentials or qualifications will be advantageous.

- NISM - Series Examination VI- Depository Operations Certificate Examination, is mandatory. If not having must complete it within 6 months of joining.

- Proven expertise in customer services or a related function inside a depository participant organisation.

- Solid understanding of depository operations, regulations, and best practices established by regulatory bodies such as NSDL and CDSL.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to connect effectively with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.

- Strong organisational skills and abilities.
