Client/Project Manager - Edible Oil Extraction Plant Manufacturing Firm

- Institutionalize robust Project Management methodology/tools.

- Ensure projects are delivered as per the contract conditions, monitor project cost for achieving Bottom line targets

- Responsible for identifying project performance standards which includes manpower productivity norms, Material consumption and stock

- Responsible for Identifying Project team structure at site, manpower to be deployed, subcontracted work and schedule for their availability

- Validate Project Plan in consultation with Head Operations, plan project milestones, determine actual resource requirement, refine productivity norms as per site conditions, prepare supplier schedules and initial project plan

- Monitoring of project planning & project budget in consultation with the Head Operations.

- Ensuring Implementation of project plan & ensures logical sequencing of plan based on resources.

- Coordination with internal department for project related documents and manage approval from clients

- Devise & implement continuous performance improvement programs to reduce costs & enhance resource productivity Monitors Project schedule and time cycles & highlight anticipated delays/ deviations in advance with corrective action plan.

- Advice on and Ensuring preventive action across sites in case of delays and shortfalls

- Communicate any change in the schedules/ plans to the concerned parties

- Manage the minutes of the meetings for the monthly meetings recording the commitments of each department to the other and bringing the same to the notice of each departmental head and the top management Acts as a catalyst

- Recording based on inputs from the sites regular updates on achievements vs. planned and shortfalls

- During the course of execution ensure that critical requirements are communicated to the respective departments and acts in expediting the provision of the same.

- Measure achievement (physical and financial) against the baselines set at the beginning of the project

- Cost analysis & control measures for progress, resources & methodology.

- Recording based on inputs from the sites regular updates on achievements vs. planned and shortfalls

- Involvement in forecasting of the financial resources required for the project and overseeing monitoring of the same.
