Client Partner - Analytics Unit - IT - Retail/CPG Domain

JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professional services includes implementation, delivery excellence, managed services, product support for analytical solutions.

A part of the Senior Leadership Team in the Analytics unit, the Senior Director shall guide and lead a large deal account across retail / CPG/ Hospitality and other consumer business industries and be responsible for executing the following functions:

- Responsible for all day to day analytics operations at an account(s) level and ensure seamless client delivery, managing teams with mix of varying skills

- Provide strong and dynamic leadership to the analytics delivery teams and guide them appropriately for seamless analytics delivery. Should be able to provide technical, analytical and business solutions and guide the teams for successful project deliverables

- Will be responsible for managing client expectations and sustain long term relationships.Would need to travel to the client locations (global) on a need basis. Will be the face to the client

- Will be responsible for P&L of the account(s) and ensure sustained growth y-o-y. The candidate will ensure repeat business and revenue expansion through farming and mining activities

- BI & Analytics projects including worldwide implementations and complete complete cycles of implementation..

- Ensure setting up of new accounts bringing in required processes, set up teams either through hiring or internal rotation, provide adequate / relevant training and kick start the delivery

- He / She will work closely with internal management team and geography heads for tactical and strategic decision on client business / relationship

- As part of the senior leadership team, he / she will support in relevant pre-sales / sales activities and be part of analytics business growth overall

- Will be required to work with global clients in different time zones and be part of day to day conversations with client (on need basis) regarding account operations

- Contribute to the organizational ecosystem by participating in team building, skill development, capacity building, training etc

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL MIX

- He/ She Should possess an Engineering Degree - an M. Tech or Doctorate would be a distinct plus.

- 18 years work experience with at least 14 years being hands-on analytics projects delivery in retail / CPG and other consumer business industries and managing multiple clients and large analytics teams

- Multi-faceted leader with blend of technology, leadership and strategic skills backed by entrepreneurial instincts.

- Extensive experience in leading large global teams to deliver enterprise-class analytics products and solutions.

- Hands-on and providing solutions to retailers in the area of merchandise analytics, store operations, personalized marketing, customer analytics.

- Good understanding of all three - data, business & science and delivered actions.

- Experience in managing a business of $25-35 Million, 200+ people, global customers.

- Deep understanding of SaaS and enterprise analytical solutions
