SME Banking Origination (Liability Acquisition) (Bank)

Job Title : Client Origination Manager

Department : Commercial Acquisition

Job responsibilities:

- COM’s will acquire high quality New to bank current accounts with potential of Transactional Banking to grow Global Bank’s share of revenues from these clients

- Accountable For achieving monthly/annual sales targets as agreed

- Ensure proper sales spread between products. Sourcing Trade , Forex, and lending customers , thereby generating fee based income.

- Achieving individual targets and growing account profitability, while maintaining a high service standard and compliance.

- Identifying opportunities of Working Capital, Term Loan & Nonfund based products like LC, BC etc…

- Ensure that branch staff own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner. Act as the escalation point for their unresolved queries and complaints.

- Ensure the mandated training requirements are completed in time.

Education & Experience:

- Exp – 4-6 years in Financial services/banking. Experience in Business lending is required.

- Education – MBA from a reputed institute

- Proficient Skills – Financial Management, relationship management skills, high achievement orientation, new customer acquisition , Trade and Forex

- Other skills – good communication and influencing skills

- We need team members with business development mind set

This is a business development role and will be on-boarding marquee names in the industry, approaching focused industry segments for business and increasing market share within same Industry segment, working jointly with stakeholders, etc….

Growth Path – Commercial COM’s can move to Corporate banking, MME, CBC and Sales manager’s role etc

- Turnover of SME segment in Global Bankbank : Companies with Turnover upwards of Rs 20 crore – 500 crore

- What kind of targets this person would be chasing. : 2 high value current account a month

- Reporting Structure. : Will report to RSM Mumbai under the Commercial Banking Business Segment

- If at all a person coming at ‘R/S’ would be given some existing clients or not? : There are no existing client given. It is business development role and candidates will be given all the support for the same
