Position Director Sales: India

Reports To : CEO

Place of Posting : Chandigarh & San Francisco (2 Mandates)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

We are looking for an experienced sales lead who is new business focused and a solution oriented professional. We require a talented and senior individual to manage our growing team

Your deep experience in the Software space should allow you to understand the market, client needs and identify sales opportunities. As a focused listener and confident presenter you should be adept at presenting to an array of audiences and comfortable overseeing and negotiating client contracts.

- Develop and convert B2B sales pipeline.

- Develop and deliver a one year direct B2B sales plan.

- Manage the team to identify, target and develop new business opportunities

- Coordinate and actively participate in lead generation activities. This includes working with marketing and business development teams to identify, develop and execute lead generation activities and campaigns.

- Develop, prepare and deliver tender responses and presentations to target audiences

- Manage new business relationships and ensure an effective handover to the Client Delivery Team

- Accountability to develop sales strategy for direct and indirect Newsmart sales

- Management of B2B sales target

- Hire, build and develop a dynamic and high performance sales team

- Articulate and promote a clear value proposition for customers and partners

- Develop and optimize channel partnerships as part of the go-to-market plan

- Ensure that all partnerships are on brand, excel in customer experience, seeking to consistently over satisfy and delight our customers.

- Responsible for relationships at all levels and will focus on new business development.

- Take a lead role in contract negotiations with customers.

- Encourage collaboration and gain the trust and support of others internally and externally. Actively engaging with people in other teams and departments to solicit their input and ensure their awareness of key project/initiatives

Job Requirements:

Experience (years): 2+ Years

Industry Preferred: IT

Qualification : BE / B.Tech / M.Tech./ MBA -Marketing.

- Good analytical & Interpersonal skills

- Team Working

- Good Communication skills

General Requirements:

- Self-motivated salesperson with experience in start-up or SME business is preferred

- Extensive experience in Sales role

- Experience selling a service product into middle to senior management

- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
