Senior Manager - Corporate Finance (Accounts Receivables)
Role & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for dedicated Corporate accounts receivable portfolio
- Responsible for all the related credit control measures and collection activities
- Liasoning with Operation Team and closing all disputes within a stipulated time frame
- Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.
- Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
- Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.
- Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship
- Implement credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the department and avoid excessive credit limits.
- Collect, allocate and follow up payments.
- Monitor customer account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Responsible for handling a team of credit controllers.
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
- Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the Account Receivables team
Requirements :
- 10+ years experience in accounts receivables
- Excellent excel skills
- Team Leader and good team player
- Good and effective communication skills with internal & external customers
- Good accounting knowledge
