Profile : - You can demonstrate an intimate working understanding of the fundamentals of product design- customer understanding, funnel metrics, translating qualitative and quantitative understanding into actionable insights, understanding of tech and infra constraints, ability to conceptualize solutions within tight constraints, track performance of the product once live and iterate. You have a superlative work portfolio to underscore your abilities in each of the above. - You have great taste for good design and know how to translate taste into outcomes. You take pride in your attention to detail and strive for perfection from concept to product. You- re passionate about your craft but you also know how to rise above your craft to use design methodologies to define which problems are worth solving. You- re very comfortable mentally switching between the big-picture and nuts-and-bolts dimensions of most problems. - You have worked in dynamic, collaborative environments and worked with product managers and engineers to define the direction of product evolution. You know how to handle dissonance with other stakeholders and have demonstrated the ability to negotiate good outcomes that are in the best interests of the customer. You have been the voice of the customer in your previous organizations through a deep, first-hand knowledge of customer needs and behavior. You are articulate and can clearly rationalize and communicate your design assumptions and decisions. Responsibilities : You will work closely with the Head of Design to ensure thoughtfulness and rigor through the entire product design lifecycle. You will be responsible for establishing and propagating relevant design systems and standards across all of Cleartrip's business lines. You will own the quality and timeliness of all product design outcomes and will be responsible for setting the right expectations with non-design stakeholders. Requirements : - 8-10 years of noteworthy industry experience - Experience at a customer-focused e-commerce company is critical - Based out of or willing to relocate to Bangalore - High quality online portfolio of superlative work- website (preferred) or a shareable PDF - A degree in design (industrial design, visual communication, interaction design or similar) is highly desirable - Experience of having led a product design team previously will be considered a bonus
