Business Planning & Sales Strategy
Key Responsibilities :
The role will involve managing in-life performance: sales, margin and conducting extensive numerical analysis using company data for Sales business.
Sales Planning :
- Conduct primary and secondary research to develop understanding of overall market, competition activities and generate consumer insights
- Monitor lead flow on regular basis and compare it with the competition
- Analyze the zone potential and set targets in conjunction to that
- Setup mechanism for periodic business reviews and creates relevant material (reports, presentations) and MIS packs (Excel, BI tools etc.)
Sales Promotion :
- Identify new products and solutions to be developed which can be taken to the market
- Chalking out schemes and action plans for bigger tie ups
- Initiate various incentive schemes for dealers based on higher conversion and other parameters
Sales Operations :
- Develop a comprehensive plan for sales operations, including the scope of activities and resources needed to realize quarterly and annual goals
- Keep a check on resource availability at the dealerships on regular basis
- Design and execute financial analysis to support development of strategic insights
- Share P&L responsibilities and budgetary control for sales
Desired Skills and Experience :
We are looking for people who have the expertise and passion for building consumers and driving sales. The person is expected to be a quick learner, who is self-motivated to improve ways of working keeping in pace with the highly charged up start-up culture that we have here. The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduate degree (from Tier I/II colleges), MBA degree preferred
- 3-7 years of experience in in sales operation of automotive industry
- Highly strategic, analytical with processes and sales statistics
- Good in forecasting quarterly, monthly, yearly sales target
- Prior experience in managing cycle for new business generations starting from lead generation to negotiating, closures
- Excellent task management and communication skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Prior team leading experience and client facing roles preferred
- Ability to single-handedly manage project/work streams in an end-to-end fashion
