Job description
Position Name: Manager - Accounts
No. of Vacancies: 1
Reporting to: General Manager - Finance
Business Unit: Corporate Office (Ahmedabad)
Business Entity: Claris Injectables Limited (a 100% subsidiary of Claris Lifesciences Limited)
Role
To manage the Accounts function of the subsidiary company along with Budgeting and Variance Analysis.
Responsibilities
- Handling of accounts department, finalization of books, timely audit and statutory compliance.
- Preparation of monthly stand alone and consolidated financial.
- Preparation of quarterly financial including overseas subsidiaries.
- Scrutinizing of ledger & monthly provision.
- Ensuring balance confirmation for various parties.
- To conclude monthly internal audit by the internal audit team with minimum possible queries.
- To conclude tax audit of company.
- To ensure statutory audit and limited review on a quarterly basis and ensure the related compliance.
- To ensure book of account is as per Accounted standard.
- Periodic ledger scrutiny of all ledgers and reconciliations.
- To prepare periodical balance sheet reconciliation accounts.
- To ensure that SAP entries and reporting modules are in line with statutory compliance (AS/Companies Act/ Income Tax Act/ Excise/ Service Tax etc.)
- Apprise management about critical matter for long-term structuring of balance sheet.
- To ensure all statutory compliance including taxation and provide all necessary information for such compliance.
- Provide various information from time to time as may be needed for business strategy.
- To ensure the cost accounting and cost audit report and cost variance reports in timely manner.
- Preparation of accounting & finance manual for all processes.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience : 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in any Manufacturing Industry.
Functional Expertise:
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Standards and Revised Schedule VI (IGAAP)
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS implementation
- Excellent knowledge of SAP (FICO)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce and qualified Chartered Accountant
Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, presentation skills and networking skills.
