About CityMall :

- CityMall is a community commerce platform focused on 400 million new internet users living in 400 small cities, towns and villages in India. It is currently serving customers across 24 Tier 2 cities and their associated towns and villages, with products across categories like Grocery, FMCG, Fashion, General Merchandise, Mobiles & Electronics, Consumer Durables.

- Rural Segment has largely been untapped by ongoing e-grocers, and the offline channel is largely broken in terms of supply chain as well as assortment of products. Key challenges in tapping the segment are due to lack of Consumer's trust, extremely low online purchases and low average order sizes.

- Citymall has efficiently utilized these challenges to its advantage through "Community leader" (a network manager) who is appointed from the same social circle as the customer. These micro entrepreneurs help us acquire & retain customers by building a layer of trust, help in demand aggregation and execute the last mile (optimizing mid mile costs because of larger aggregated order values).

Responsibilities :

- GMV , Own the sales number, carry out monthly and quarterly planning

- Category Width & Depth ; Assortment relevance & growth

- Category Led Consumer NPS Management

- Margin Growth ; Improve sourcing capabilities and grow margins

- Strategic Associations ; Bring in new contracts, brands and parallel lines of income

- Regional Brands ; Understanding Regional Demands and building regional Assortment

- Price Perception ; Consumer Focussed pricing & keeping prices competitive

- Inventory Health ; Own working capital requirement and eliminate inventory loss

Required :

- Local assortment knowledge of Staples categories for Madhya Pradesh state, cities like Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain

- Existing relationships with brands, manufacturers and suppliers in the region

- Minimum 5 years of local sourcing experience

- Team management experience
