Manager - Revenue Planning

CityMall is a community commerce platform focused on 300 million new to internet users living in 400 small cities, towns and villages in India. CityMall primarily focused on Grocery, Fresh and Packaged FMCG categories. Smaller towns and cities are untouched by traditional online E-grocers with large players like Grofers and Big Basket present in top 8 metropolitan cities in India. Key bottlenecks are lack of trust, lack of familiarity to browse and purchase online, low average order value (which makes economic viability a challenge for the platforms), lack of credit online channels (which neighborhood stores offer)

CityMall is a highly effective channel to serve these consumers through "Community Leaders". They are the "Social" and "Geographic" connectors between end consumers and CityMall. They help us in acquiring customers, doing sales and marketing to retain wallet share as well as doing the last mile logistics in their communities making the community led model more suitable for small towns, cities and villages.

Founded by IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee alumni with 8+ years of entrepreneurial experience, CityMall aims to create several thousands of such micro-entrepreneurs and empower them to create the go-to e-commerce platform for Bharat.

Role & Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

- The candidate will be responsible for city and category wise revenue planning, leading up to PAN India revenue and growth plan. This is a high impact role that involves creating, monitoring plans & identifying problems vis-a-vis solutions that influence all functions in the organization.

Requirements :

- Own planning for overall organization, working directly with Head, Revenue

- Drive actions and initiatives that ensures top and bottom-line targets are achieved for overall business and all units

- Own governance for metrics such as GMV, conversion, AOV, etc. across all categories and cities.

- Own business MIS to ensure business is meeting its overall margin and burn targets

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (BD, Product, Marketing, Category & Operations, city, etc.) to drive business outcomes

- Be extremely detail oriented, structured and data driven.

Key Qualifications :

- Working in a fast-paced multi-team environment

- Candidates with prior consulting / strategy /cross-functional program management experience (2+ years) will be preferred

- Central POC and Project Manager for BAU initiatives across various teams

- MBA / B Tech from tier 1 college
