Roles and Responsibilities : - Own top line as well as the bottom line for the category, drive revenue and margins - Own assortment, merchandising, cataloging, inventory TAT, cash cycle - Build local and national tie ups with manufacturers, suppliers and brands - Setup inbound supply chain for the category in multiple cities, set operational guidelines for handling category assortment - Collaborate with various stake holders in designing, marketing and execution of various programs to increase consumer wallet share, penetration and retention - Collaborate in and lead product development initiatives to build for scale Skills and Experience :- - Past experience in Staples sourcing/ category management 2-8 years. - Understanding of seasonality and trends. - Experience in multiple geographies is preferred - Knowledge of Uttar Prasad Market - Preferred experience of working in high growth startups - Need to be very hands-on ability to execute and deliver - Strong in analytics, data driven experimentation and problem solving - Understanding consumer behaviour and their needs - Top tier graduate/ post graduate academic pedigree
