Our client is a global co-working spaces brand and is the preferred destination for companies and individuals looking for hi-energy no-fuss flexible workplaces. They are a rare case of a unicorn from the real estate industry that functions in silicon valley style. In India, they have launched in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi NCR (Gurgaon). The company is slated for a major expansion in 2017. They are passionate about creating workspaces that are amazing and lend towards creating positive enabling spaces for startups, small businesses, and freelancers to work and grow.

As the City Operations Manager, you will be reporting to the General Manager and will play a key role in defining how the city's resources are organized for optimal execution in running the day-to-day operations of the city's buildings under the company's banner with an eye towards delivering on a fantastic member experience. Your role will revolve around the following areas - security management, hospitality services, Infrastructure and facilities management. The key responsibilities will be to:

- Work closely with the GM to optimize the operational efficiency and P&L for the Centres

- Strategically lead multiple operational departments including security, hospitality services, and facilities within the city.

- Drive the success of all operational support for Community Management teams

- Directly manage the outsourced facilities team in your city.

- Implement and measure clear KPIs for each sub-department of facilities.

- Structure effective training program that enables team members to onboard quickly and successfully

- Accountable for department budgets

- Process management and business Insights

- Manage key processes to optimize the City's business, including goal setting and review, and cross-functional meetings designed to optimize member experience

- Leverage analytics to identify & recommend opportunities to reduce OPEX and improve business efficiency

- On an ongoing basis audit key business processes and recommend improvements

- Play a program management role in the city to ensure that the highest priority projects are successfully executed

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage, property management or other related field

- Strong understanding of building mechanical systems

- Experience opening new business units, including restaurants, hotels, commercial properties, etc.

- Deep understanding of building financials in order to continually optimize vendor and team performance

- Experience managing teams located in multiple markets and countries

- A true leader. One who can inspire others to take action and be their best

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Experience presenting to executive level stakeholders to receive the necessary resources for success

- Knowledge in IT infrastructure a plus

- Multiple languages a plus

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

- Prior experience in a guest facing role in a premium 5 star hotel chain like Oberois, Leela, Taj, Lalit etc is desirable

Salary offered: 10 - 15 LPA
