Our Client is looking for a City Lead - Inventory Planning and Procurement (IPP)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharma/related field
Having his own distibution and vendor list
Previous exp in Hospital of pharmacy
7 to 10 years of experience in a Pharma Procurement operations with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Manager level role at regional/national level with proven advancement and increasing levels of responsibility.
Passion to deliver a delightful customer experience
Job Summary :
- This role is designed to facilitate for the high demanding, fast-paced procurement operations of pharma products in an e-commerce environment. This role demands to work closely with Fulfillment Operations, Customer Support and Finance & Marketing teams. The role is expected to drive operational efficiency at regional level and ensure the right supply chain is established to meet customer demands.
- Role is expected to have an extensive and hands-on understanding of the pharma supply chain in the specific region. Ability to build and manage partnerships will be a key aspect. Candidate with good vendor knowledge (regional & national) communication skills, detail oriented approach, passion towards customer service and experience in managing teams (both internal and external) to drive region wide procurement will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a supplier network to help the company get 100% fill rates for all its pharma product requirements in the region.
- Manage, track the inventory and be responsible for the regional stock.
- Ability to source the products from different distributors.
- Evaluate Suppliers / Pharma Distributors from time to time and aggressively drive higher margins.
- Ability to build strong relationships with partners and vendors. Enforce KPIs and improve SOPs
- Set regular audit process and report any inventory variances and take corrective measures.
- Ensure accurate product inventory at all times.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Vendor Relationship & Management Skills.
- Sound subject Knowledge in Pharma, Pharma procurement and its practises.
Job Knowledge/Skills :
- Ability to handle the fast paced and changing priorities with required urgency
- Managing escalations and crisis with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task.
