Our client is a venture funded start-up serving the $6Bn Indian Chai market. They are redefining how chai is consumed in a huge unorganized growing market - currently there are at 8 cafes in Delhi NCR, they are providing chai on demand through disposable kettles (and partnerships with Ola Cafe, Grofers, etc) and have created their own blends of premium desi chais. They are looking to aggressively grow to 60 cafes across 4 cities within the next year. This is a core team position, with very strong growth prospects as the company expands across geographies and verticals
Capabilities :
- Startup attitude is a must: quick execution and willingness to work crazy hours and 6 days a week
- Should have worked with either top notch consulting firms, big FMCG brands or startup experience
- Ability to structure complex problems, and operations experience is very relevant for this position
- Having worked with revenue and cost side is preferable, since this job involves management of end to end P&L
- Candidate must be high on energy
Responsibilities :
- Mini CEO role - a critical job that involves managing end to end P&L of a city
- Building the Chaayos brand in a new city from scratch; hiring, training, new stores and business development
- Execution of growth of outlets through understanding of product market fit and strong innovative marketing to capture customers
- Very high on execution role, with complete autonomy
