It has established over 50 kitchens across five cities.

Company is restructuring its food delivery platform business to focus on building a portfolio of its own as well as curated food brands through a network of kitchens and offline stores.According to sources, This business has already established over 50 kitchens across five cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune, and is working on expanding the network. It is also exploring setting up offline stores that could potentially sell products under its in-house brands, they said.

When contacted, a Business spokesperson said:

- As part of our ongoing business re-purposing initiatives, we are focused on building a portfolio of own food brands and curated food offerings through our fast expanding network of kitchens.

- Many of these offerings are already available in all major cities through the online business apps. We continue to invest in expanding our facilities and kitchens, as well as our portfolio of food offerings for customers,- the spokesperson said but declined to offer further details. Another said that company is investing in its own network of kitchens as it allows tighter controls and clock higher margins.

Responsibilities :

Title: City Head

Location: Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities:

- The head of city operations is responsible for managing the end to end city level P&L and Operations & collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure continuity and growth

- Responsible for City level Ops Process and Compliance Adherence

- Be the leader in taking the city operations towards profitability

- Manage all city level financial aspects (Cash Spends/Adhoc Spends/ Supply Chain Spends Etc.)

- Collaboration with Central Stake Holders

- Align the Demand target & execution with City readiness

- Ensuring staff training readiness

- Maintenance of capex and operational readiness of all DKs

- Work with Supply Chain to ensure Inventory readiness at City Warehouse & DKs

- Ensuring operations like rental/electricity etc. payouts are in order to ensure continuity of operations

- People Management-Pan India Operations

- Staffing continuity for sustaining operations and meeting Demand targets

- Staff Training & Readiness Assessments

- Responsible for people utilization, attrition

- Last mile logistics

Desired Experience / Background:

- Previous at scale Operations management & P&L Experience. Preferably With QSR/ Food Industry. (Experience: 4-15 Years). Understanding of Kitchen processes
