City Head/Manager - Car Rental

A car rentals company having their service offerings in 7 metropolitan cities in India is looking for a city manager/head for Bangalore and Chennai locations.

These are two different positions one for Bangalore & other for Chennai.

- Role and Responsibilities: -

- Understand products and services offered by this company and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.

- Hire, train and manage a team of marketing, sales and service representatives in designated area or city.

- Implement standard operating processes to scale the working of the organization.

- Help define the seller base and industry verticals we target for various products/ services using local knowledge.

- Identify valuable buyers for our services.

- Impact the overall expansion of business and operations for the city assigned

- There are two different positions one for Bangalore and the other for Chennai, and will require travel within the city.

Handle the P&L, revenue management for the entire geography assigned.

Prior Experience and skills:-

- More than 4+ years of experience in marketing, sales and leadership roles of large team

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred

- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.

- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business - by the numbers- Must be metrics-driven.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

- Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired.

- Experience in defining new processes is desirable.

- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

- Fluency in local language is important along with awareness of local landscape.
