Job Overview: Owner of the overall Business Health of a territory of less than 20000 customers who will work with Cluster Managers/ Area Managers and other internal cross functional stakeholders to achieve company OKR's of operational &amp; cost centric in nature Responsibilities &amp; Duties: Managerial Responsibilities: - Take lead in ensuring that regular day to day operations are running smoothly and with focus on pre-defined OKR - The DM is responsible of running established processes by the City Manager or set them up as per the business requirements of the management. - To analyse current data and utilise it to achieve the on-field objectives through the supply chain team - Discipline of the on field supply chain team is to be ensures, pre-set processes like attendance sharing, reporting on a daily basis is to be ensured by the City Delivery Manager. - Vendor Management with transporters, suppliers of product/ Manpower is also extremely critical in the profile. Negotiating to ensure that costs are within specified limits and executing the plan is an important core responsibility of the City Delivery Manager Profit Centre Management: - Overseeing profit centre operations, increasing profitability and achieving business objectives within budgeted parameters. Also ensure that regular on-field requirements are scrutinised and if found viable, then executed - Coordinating budgets, forecasts and reports &amp; effectuating business plans to attain the desired EBIDTA. Most important is to optimize operations and attain EBIDTA along with Service Level. Logistics Operations: - - Managing logistics functions, negotiating with vendors and business partners for cost effective transport solutions &amp; clearances to reduce overall network cost. - Taking adequate measures to monitor and analyse the performance of vendors and business partners pertaining to cost, quality and delivery norms; selecting appropriate mode of transport among the range of routes. for achieving the desired service level. Implementation of cross docking and other measures to manage load factor at peak level. - City Delivery Manager is also responsible for managing the team of Cluster Managers, HUB Leads to ensure that the team is focussing towards meeting the management's expectations.
