Business Analyst
Role:
- Assisting with formulating the business case
- Planning and monitoring project activities
- Eliciting requirements
- Requirements organization
- Translating and simplifying requirements
- Requirements management and communication
- Requirements analysis
- Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools in the organization across multiple stakeholders
- Work closely with multiple teams to implement strategic organization wide processes
- Effective tracking and communication of organization wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Collation of status reporting across multiple initiatives
- Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools in the organization across multiple stakeholders
Key Skills Required (Mandatory):
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Very good communication skills - both written and spoken
- Conceptual understanding of entities and relationships (How to create an ER diagram)
- Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office toolset: Powerpoint presentations, Word Docs, Excel (e.g., pivot tables, graphs)
Key Attributes:
- Analytic ability, breaking down a problem into smaller parts to fix it.
- Team player, and high ownership level to be able to complete initiatives
- Ability to understand organization wide processes
- Effective in communication and collaborates well
- Must be able to follow up and track progress of tasks assigned that involve multiple stakeholders
- Diligent with attention to detail
