Citibank - Business Analyst

Job Purpose:

Technical/Business Analysis - Custody Domain

- The person will work with Operations/Product to understand business requirement, and prepare Functional Requirement document in the area of Custody (Global and Direct Custody).

- The person should be able to work with the Technical Team to clarify requirements, participate in Technical design to ensure the requirements are met by the product design.

- The person will have to work with the local/global teams across region (including Business interaction)

- The person will work independently and should be self-motivated

- Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilizes good understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts. Ability to understand how systems across the business hang together.

- Interact with Product and Operations team in the AsPAC region to understand and clarify the requirements

- Write functional document

- Write and execute test cases and work with technologists to develop solutions

- Review existing processes in place and come up with creative/automated solutions while working with technical teams

- Interact with teams spread geographically

Knowledge/Experience:

- 6-12 years of experience with 5+ years- experience in Technical/analysis role within financial services

- Strong Custody domain knowledge

- Worked in large banks in a similar role

Skills Required

- Extensive business analysis experience across a range of projects, programmes and domains

- Expertise in a wide range of requirement elicitation and documentation techniques, using a range of methodologies.

- Extensive experience of documenting use cases, functional specifications or similar

- Experience with system and user acceptance testing, including test management tools

- Strong communications skills

- Analytical and problem solver

- Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background

Nice to Have

- Development Experience Mainframe would be a distinct advantage

- Knowledge/experience of test automation tools

- Prior Citi experience
