Location: Bangalore

Cisco India: With sales and marketing operations spread across key cities in India and a Software Development Centre in Bangalore, Cisco leads the networking market in core technologies of routing and switching, as well as WLAN and network security.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of the Services Finance Organization supporting the Cisco Services business across APJC (APAC, Japan and Greater China) Region in a FP&A Consolidation Role.
The role will have a high exposure and will interact with VP of Sales, key Operations Leaders, Director of Finance therefore solid business partnering skills, presentation, and strong communication skills are required. This is an excellent opportunity for any Finance Personnel and reports directly into the Director of Services Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage expenses budgets for the APJC Service Sales Organization which includes HC Management, Month and Quarter Expense Closing, Expense Forecast, Flash submission, and advising on Spend optimization, and P/L reporting and analysis.

- Drive and manage all Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) activities for APJC Services including, weekly/monthly/quarterly commits booking consolidation and reporting, annual planning cycles

- Co-ordinate and work closely with the members of the APJC Service Sales Finance team driving consolidation request, coordinating inputs from Corporate and drive process efficiencies

- This is a hands on role, with a high level of detail and accuracy required.

- High level of excel spreadsheet and data reporting consolidation experience is a must requiring speed and accuracy

- Ability to business partner with VP Sales and Operations Director, providing direction on cost control and reporting requirements

- Be a key advisor on expense and booking cycles, including APJC Service Sales and COGs department structure and hierarchy management.

- Managing commissions accrual model for APJC and co-ordination with corporate

- Liaison back into Corporate on Variance Analysis on Bookings and Spend Control

- The position will drive regular meetings with APJC Service Sales Finance Team residing across time zones to drive internal deadlines

- Must be an independent worker as management chain reporting may be outside India and business partners are across APJC which the position interacts daily.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

- CA/MBA Finance/ICWA/CMA/CPA qualified with 10-12 years work experience in large multi-national company with exposure to various financial activities (month end close, financial planning & reporting etc)

- Relevant Accounting or Business University degree with at least 8+ years of relevant practical experience

SYSTEMS and SKILLS:

- Advanced Excel Spreadsheet experience required, large spreadsheet management, macros, advanced formulas for consolidation

- High level of attention to detail required

- Solid Accounting Knowledge and proven Financial Planning and Analysis Experience

- Knowledge of US GAAP Accounting Principles

- Strong Communication Skills at both lower and upper levels of management

- Professional & positive attitude with a willingness to learn and drive improvements and efficiencies

- High level of proven power point slide presentations

- Ability to work within multiple time zones and be flexible with working options to meet deadlines as and when required.

- Must be deadline driven with multiple stakeholders

- Independent and Self-Driven with ability to work under low levels of supervision

- High level of ability to drive teamwork and collaboration across the Services Finance Team
