LOCATION - Siliguri

Position : CIRCLE HEAD

REPORTING TO : Zonal Head

REPORTEEs : Cluster Heads, Direct Reporting Branch Managers CSRM - Head, KCMs, Project Manager

CTC - negotiable pa approx ; depending upon previous CTC, experience, education, interview status.

Responsibilities:-

Ensure that all reportees achieve business objectives.

1. Ensure all reporting relationships have a job description and understand their job.

2. Ensure all procedures, processes and objectives rolled out are explained to reportees for implementation. Down the line

3. Provide strategy and plan for meeting targets/ objectives

4. Provide guidance and direction on various parameters of business so that targets are met.

5. Constantly monitor progress on implementation of strategy and achievement of various actionables and objectives and to provide regular feedback on performance.

6. Identify gaps and initiate corrective action

7. Provide guidance and direction to ensure that all operational guidelines are strictly adhered to.

8. Ensure high levels of customer service

9. Provide support in terms of staff recruitment and training.

10. Support branches for resolving/ sorting out - people- related issues.

11. Ensure proper disciplinary action is taken as and when required

Lead a result oriented team and is responsible for achieving the Zonal sales targets, ensuring high quality service and customer relationship management. Ensure compliance with banking rules, regulations & procedures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Achievement of Business Targets

- Income, Contribution and Cost/ Income targets

- Incremental Current and SB regular and salary numbers

- Incremental NAV, CIB and Closure values

- Cross Sell product - Demat, HSL, Credit Cards, TPP (MF, Insurance), Retail FX, Retail Assets and Business Banking. Other asset products if any.

- Direct Banking targets

Achievement of Productivity Benchmarks

- PB Productivity

- Coex Productivity

- BDR Productivity

- Non-Sales Staff Productivity

- RM Productivity

Competition Analysis

- Understanding the products/processes developed by the competition and taking up with appropriate product teams. HNW / ICRM / Classic Portfolio Management

- Process Adherence (CRA file updating in CRM next, tracking sales and service interactions, review of calling pattern, groups not met, etc)

- Achievement of RM, Imperia and Classic income (TPP and others) targets

- Achievement of Portfolio Growth targets

- Achievement of Cross Sell targets

- Achievement of portfolio parameter benchmarks - Total no. of groups raced, Customer Contacts, Sales to Portfolio, CTG and IPH and New to Bank Customer

Customer Service

- Ensuring excellent SQ rating for the branch, taking corrective steps for ensuring adherence to SQI quality parameters

- Ensure benchmarks are achieved on Efficiency Parameters - CA, SB Activation, Depletion Control, TAT delays, FTNR (liability and demat), Instant Holds, 2nd Product Cross Sell, Banding improvement

- Lobby and Bearer Management process implementation

- Effective handling of complaints and ensuring resolution within TAT.

People Management

- Recruitment

- Training - staff is exposed to skill based, product knowledge based and Operational knowledge based training

- Staff motivation and morale management

- Development of sub ordinates in managerial and leadership qualities

- Handling staff issues/complaints.

- Staff turn over/ attrition management

- Staff Turnover

- Staff Motivation and morale

- Training - staff is exposed to skill based, product knowledge based and Operational knowledge based training

Branch Operations and internal control

- Audit Rating

- No frauds / Operational Errors

- Quality Sourcing and KYC adherence

- Dummy / Suspense fortnightly reporting

Cost Management and profitability

- Cost Control as per budget

- Branch Profitability

Branch & ATM Management

- Better lobby management

- Clean branch / ATM (both onsite and offsite ATMs linked to the branch )

- Branch Merchandising at branch / onsite ATM. Ensuring merchandising quality index parameters at the branch/ATM

- Offsite ATM Management

Corporate Social responsibility

- To ensure that bank's CSR objectives are met by organizing relevant events in the region

Others

- Liaison with courts/consumer forums/Ombudsman/police stations/labour offices (as the case may be) in consultation with legal units to safe guard the interest of the bank and staff.

- Ensuring proper representation of the bank in SLBC/ RBI meetings.

- Liaise with the Direct Sales team to ensure that commitments/ objectives are met.

- Interaction with other business groups for support/ resolving of issues

- Interaction with Marketing Team and implementation of marketing promos initiated at Central/regional levels

- Staff Contacts: Branch visits and - Town Halls- .

- Leadership in propagating the 'One Bank' objective

- Communication of Senior Management directives down the line

- Providing constructive feedback/ solutions for customer/ business issues. Ensure all problems are identified with action steps, accountability and monitoring of the same with target dates

- Client visits-

- Implementation, follow and reporting for initiatives rolled out by the Central Office, Regional Office and - Product- .

- CH Discussion with the Branch/ Sales team after completion of every visit by the Cluster Head.

- Support ZH on Branch Expansion

- Support ZH on ATM Expansion

SUPERVISION

- Work under the guidance of Regional Business Manager and Audit.

Requirements :

Cluster Heads / Circle Heads from BANKING INDUSTRY having exposure in the assigned market & surroundings.
