Position: Manager - Learning Technology
Job Location - Mumbai
Job Pupose:
Support in building technology as an integral part of learning agenda - introduce and institutionalize latest and relevant technology platforms for accessing learning; technology enablement for efficient and effective learning administration and management
Accountability Cluster:
I. LMS implementation across all the functions and geographies across Cipla
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Lead LMS implementation and integration with internal systems
b) Collaborate with other teams like IT, HR for smooth implementation
c) Participate in specifications, configuration, testing, and implementation of the LMS and enhancements
d) Maintain the LMS test environments, including access and coordination of internal stakeholders and establishment of testing environment standards.
Accountability Cluster:
II. Maintain and drive LMS to increase employee utilization
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Drives functional enhancements and participates in, and advises the development of various training material technologies, such as quick reference guides, eLearning and videos to be deployed through the LMS
b) Provide ongoing technical support related to content integration within the LMS
c) Analyses individual and functional learning needs and drives on demand learning accordingly

III. Resolve issues related to system performance.
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Resolve issues related to system performance: troubleshoot, communicate, escalate and resolve LMS issues based on user feedback
b) Collaborate with IT team and external vendors to resolve issues

IV. Handles administration of LMS and other learning technologies
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Implement LMS reporting strategy to identify usage trends and other critical components of managing and administering the system
b) Maintain documentation of user roles to include system administrators, course developers and instructors
c) Maintain usage rights for administrators, managers and employees

V. Drive the operational performance of training system infrastructure.
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Handles system configuration, maintenance, and administration responsibility
b) Partner with team members and end users to evaluate, test and recommend content development tools or other learning technology solutions.

VI. Track and implement current learning technology tools, resources, approaches & trends.
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Stay abreast of current technology trends and enhancements to learning systems
b) Research and develop innovative learning tools and technologies to meet learners and instructional
c) designers- needs, delivered across multiple devices and platforms like mobile, desktops
d) Make recommendations to ensure the learning management platform aligns with internal system updates and best practices

VII. Manage and collaborate with external technology vendors.
Major Activities / Tasks -
c) Handles system configuration, maintenance, and administration responsibility

Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Create mechanism to monitor, track, record & evaluate employees performance pre & post technology based learning interventions
b) Use analytics to drive culture of efficiency & effectiveness

IX. Integrate Social learning effectively in employees training
Major Activities / Tasks -
e) Identify areas for where social learning can be applied as effective mechanism to leverage informal learning
f) Use innovative ways to increase employees adoption of social learning by integrating it with traditional and e-learning methods

X. Design and implement training on technology platforms for users
Major Activities / Tasks -
a) Design, deliver and evaluate training, workshops, courses and other training sessions on introduction of new technology platforms
b) Author and maintain appropriate documentation and tutorials for employees- training purposes
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree OR Master's Degree
Relevant Experience Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in managing Learning Management System platforms; exposure to designing, developing, implementing or supporting learning technologies, experience with social and mobile learning tools and methods
Other capabilities -
- Strong knowledge of interoperability and compliance with SCORM and AICC standards
- 2 years of experience in regulated industry
- Experience in building relationships with people at a variety of levels
- Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
