Job Description
Accountability Cluster
- Rollout and Implementation of Rewards Framework to ensure that the best talent is attracted and rewarded
- Liaison with external agencies and consultants to benchmark information on the compensation positioning and other parameters of compensation are on a regular basis to ensure that the compensation and rewards structure is in tune with the industry standards
- Rollout of Annual Compensation revision and performance bonus plan, to ensure timely pay-out for all the employees.
- Review the existing processes and prepare improvement guidelines as per the business requirements (ex. Guidelines on Salary correction, promotional increment, joining bonus, retention bonus, campus salary, domestic consultants hiring etc.) to ensure simplification of the rewards processes
Major Activities / Tasks
- Carry out primary and secondary research to create an approach note for developing Cipla's global rewards philosophy.
- Execution of Global Rewards Framework, drawing linkage to Overall Business & HR Strategy.
- Plan (and draft content for) various channels of communication to create awareness and build capability among HR colleagues and employees around Rewards under the guidance of the Head-Rewards.
- Partner with External Consultants to keep track of changing demography in terms of Rewards practices globally and provide recommendations to Head - Rewards to implement the practices as per Organizational need.
- Design and execute initiatives for Capability Building and develop in-house expertise through various initiatives and internal/external forums under the guidance of Head-Rewards
- Collaboration with external reward consultants to provide recommendation to Head - Rewards on annual Increase proposal linked to Regional Market Trends, Company Performance and Approved Budgets
- Preparing proposal for Performance Bonus Pay-out in line with Company, Business & Individual Scorecards along with the Head-Rewards
- Execution of Rollout of Annual Increase and Performance Bonus Pay-out for all employees within agreed timelines
- Prepare process improvement guidelines pertaining to Rewards from cost perspective.
- Ensure Simplification of various Rewards processes and smooth communication of the same to Business/HR leaders.
- Preparing a proposal for Tax efficient Compensation Structure and implementing the same across Cipla (Components which may be explored include Petro Card, NPS, etc.).
- Introduce Flexi Pay structure in Cipla and coordinating with HR Technology team for system integration
Preferred Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (preferably from Tier I MBA college)
Experience: Atleast 5 years of experience in managing C&B
