This is a new role that would be primarily responsible for partnering with the Distribution function at the Zonal Level in providing proactive, continuous, reliable and responsive end to end HR Support in the respective Zone.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Recruitment:

To ensure quality & quantity of requisite / planned manpower in depots (Contractual & permanent)

- Induction & Training:

Joining formalities- To complete joining formalities of all new hires in the zone. Design, manage & co-ordinate New Hire Orientation; Skill - enhancement program; and developmental/ behavioural workshops at an aggregate level

- Compensation, benefits & Policies Administration:

To design and implement appropriate process to monitor and control attendance and leave management. To handle above the line activities such as comp design, benchmarking & backend activities such as payroll advice, MIS etc.

- Statutory Compliance:

Ensure 100% statutory compliance including contractors- compliance on all applicable labour legislation in the respective area of operation

- Employee Relations:

To ensure harmonious and peaceful employee relations in the zone. Timely addressing all the concerns raised by the roll/ contractual employees. Handle all labour & legal matters at the zonal level.

- Employee engagement and communication:

Design and execute engagement strategies aimed at driving conducive working environment and high performance

- Grievance handling in the depots/ region:

To ensure that all the grievances raised by on roll/ contractual employees are resolved in time

- Exit Formalities:

Ensure smooth closure of all necessary formalities for exited employee in time

- Administration of the depots:

To handle all administration activities at all depots

- Liaison and co-ordination with local bodies:

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Robust 8+ years' experience

- HR Generalist having hands-on experience in handling contractual manpower, statutory compliances HR Operations

- Strong knowledge of labour laws & liaison with Regulatory Bodies

- Education: Post graduate in HR
