Position : Direct Tax - Associate

Location : Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION :

In charge for all Global Direct Tax Compliance for the Group.

Domain expertise of Direct Tax law & rules.

Active member of Corporate Group entity simplification and tax structuring projects.

Active Participation for implementing optimised and efficient tax structures for the group and transactions.

Responsible to achievement of consolidated targeted ETR

Overall supervision and control on the full domestic Tax lifecycle management - Advance Tax, Returns,

Assessments, Appeals, Refunds etc.

Implementation for key tax projects.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for implementing and imparting knowledge on the tax awareness, tax optimisation, tax leakage, etc. projects.

Ability to appear before various higher appellate authorities and pursue the disputed open issues.

COMPETENCIES :

Experience in full gamut of Direct in terms of - Audits, Litigation, Advisory etc. for at least 4-5 years from manufacturing industry

Experience in tax structuring, tax optimization projects

Experience in process improvement and control developments for creating tax efficient and compliant environment.

KNOWLEDGE :

Domain Tax Laws, Rules, Statue control & implementation.

Accounting, Companies Act, sound knowledge expected.

QUALIFICATION : CA

TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 4-5 years
